The archbishop of Minneapolis and St. Paul received a rare, fine-art reproduction of a volume of The Saint John's Bible in honor of his retirement. Archbishop Harry Flynn calls the illuminated volume marvelous and a great work of art. He received it at the Cathedral of St. Paul. The volume is a full-size reproduction of the Wisdom Books of the Bible. The volume is about two feet tall and three feet wide. It weighs 20 pounds. The Eugene and Mary Frey family helped pay for the gift. Flynn has been archbishop of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for more than eleven years. Earlier this month, Saint John's University and Abbey presented a fine-art edition of the St. Peter Apostles volume to Pope Benedict in Rome.
